Unfolding

I’ve been having problems(not technical problems!) with my livejournal lately. It’s not that I don’t love it anymore (and I’m not going to any time soon. That journal is my baby). It was my first actual blog that people read.  It wasn’t an immature self-centered blog unlike my first few ones on blogspot. Jesus, they were horrible. I was immensely confident that people actually read that sorry excuse for a blog and even posted ‘weekly videos’ that usually involved Mariah Carey for their enjoyment. In my defense, I was 9./shifty eyes

It’s just..I don’t seem to have the will to even post there now. I know it seems hypocritical that I’m posting here, in WordPress, and not there, in my dearly beloved Eljay. I have friends there, both online and offline, but I know that I’ve grown apart from them. And it’s pretty much all my fault.  To be honest, the only reason why I still hang around LiveJournal is because 1) That’s where I get most of my Bleach updates and 2) teh icons, journal layouts and profile layouts are purdy. Pretty much it.

So have I truly matured and gone past the Livejournal phase? Maybe not, though I am sure that I am not that fandom n00b I was two years ago. Remind me not of that time. It’s painful and embarrassing looking at those entries.Whenever I read them, I just want to slap my younger self and go, “WTF, man! What the hell were you thinking? Grow up!”. In 2 years time, I’ll probably be saying those very words to the present-me.

Damn, I deviated from the original topic. AGAIN. Bottom line is, Livejournal isn’t that same mecca I used to think it was. It’s time to move on to bigger and better things now.
